Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide medication reminders and administer medications following prescribed protocols
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Support patients with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Engage clients in social activities and behavioral management techniques to promote mental well-being
- Drive clients to appointments, errands, or social outings as needed, ensuring safe transportation
- Monitor health status, report changes promptly, and collaborate with healthcare professionals for optimal care plans
Requirements
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of patient care practices including dementia, Alzheimer's, hospice, and senior care is essential
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional caregiving certifications are a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physical tasks associated with caregiving duties
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for transportation responsibilities
- Strong communication skills with a compassionate attitude towards clients of all ages including children when applicable
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings or weekends as needed

Pay: £25,420.00-£37,164.90 per year
