Salary: Up to circa £33,000,00 per annum

Schedule: Monday–Friday, days | 40hr week
The Role
A leading 3PL and distribution business in the Swindon area are looking for an experienced Transport Planner to support its day-to-day transport operation.
You’ll be responsible for planning vehicle movements, coordinating drivers, ensuring customer requirements are met, and maintaining compliance across the fleet.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate daily vehicle movements and driver schedules across the UK
- Ensure fleet utilisation is efficient and cost-effective
- Monitor driver hours, tachograph compliance, and transport KPIs
- Maintain transport records, servicing schedules, and compliance documentation
- Support route optimisation to improve efficiency and service levels
- Assist with fleet maintenance planning, MOTs, and defect reporting
Key Requirements
- Previous experience in a Transport Planner / Transport Coordinator role
- Strong understanding of driver hours, tachograph regulations, and transport compliance
- Experience using Transport Management Systems (TMS)
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
Desirable:
- Knowledge of O Licence compliance
- Previous experience within 3PL or multi-customer operations
Salary & Benefits

- 8-hour shifts between 7:30am – 7:30pm
