Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and take their orders accurately
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation standards are maintained
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with licensing laws and company policies
- Clear tables efficiently and maintain a clean, organised service area
- Assist in setting up the bar and dining areas before service
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using the till system
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
- Provide attentive service, responding promptly to guest requests or concerns
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operation of the venue
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable manner
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and bills
- Good time management to prioritise tasks during busy periods
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
