Summary
We are seeking a skilled Builder to join our team at Tameside Automatics. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and fitting gearboxes and clutches to the highest standards of quality that our company is known for. This position is crucial to maintaining our reputation for excellence in automotive repair.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and fit gearboxes and clutches according to specifications.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
- Perform quality checks on completed work to ensure it meets company standards.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and productivity.
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge related to automotive systems, particularly automatic gearboxes and clutches.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools in an assembly or repair environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Full driving license is preferable
