ISSION

II UK is seeking an experienced Production Controller to support a leading organisation operating within the space and advanced manufacturing sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring manufacturing activities are executed efficiently, safely, and in line with production planning, quality requirements, and programme commitments.

orking directly on the shop floor, you will monitor production progress, coordinate across multiple stakeholders, identify bottlenecks, and drive actions that support on-time delivery and operational excellence.

onitor daily production activities and track manufacturing progress against schedules.
E
nsure work orders are complete, accurate, and ready for execution.
V
erify manufacturing readiness, including material availability, documentation, and resource allocation.
C
oordinate activities between production teams, planning functions, and supply chain stakeholders.
I
dentify production constraints, delays, and bottlenecks, escalating issues where required.
S
upport the implementation of mitigation and recovery plans to maintain programme delivery targets.
A
nalyse and report production performance using relevant industrial KPIs.
F
acilitate and lead daily shopfloor routines and operational meetings.
W
ork closely with manufacturing teams to resolve operational issues and improve workflow efficiency.
S
upport internal reviews, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
E
nsure compliance with quality standards, company procedures, and manufacturing processes.

ROFIL

trong understanding of production control and manufacturing operations.
K
nowledge of industrial performance indicators (KPIs) and production monitoring techniques.
E
xperience using SAP or similar ERP/MRP systems.
E
xcellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
S
trong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
A
bility to work autonomously within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
P
roactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
O
rganised, methodical, and detail-oriented approach.

roven experience in a Production Controller, Shopfloor Controller, Manufacturing Controller, Production Planner, or similar industrial role.
E
xperience supporting production activities within manufacturing, aerospace, defence, automotive, space, or other highly regulated industries.
D
emonstrable experience managing production schedules, work orders, and shopfloor activities.
E
xperience working cross-functionally with production, planning, supply chain, and quality teams.
F
amiliarity with manufacturing audits, operational reviews, and performance reporting.

revious experience operating in a complex industrial environment with demanding delivery targets is highly desirable.
