We are seeking a compassionate, patient, skilled and dedicated full time permanent Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming team at Oswald Road Primary School. This role woud be ideal for someone with experience supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA). We are seeking someone who is committed to supporting children feel safe, understood and ready to learn. It would be beneficial if the successful candidate had experience of supporting pupils with pastoral needs.
The successful candidate will work closely with Class Teachers,our EBSA Team and our school Learning Support Team to provide personalised support for pupils who may be experiencing anxiety, sensory needs, emotional regulations difficulties or barriers to school attendance. Support may be delivered on a one to one basis, in small groups or within the classroom environment. The successful candidate will support pupils to re-engage with learning through flexible, trauma informed approaches, while building trusting relationships with pupils and families and will also work collaboratively with school staff and outside agencies.

Pay: £15,841.80-£16,885.20 per year
