We are seeking a highly organised Fleet and Stock controller to join our team based in Basildon, Essex. Reporting to the Management team, the successful candidate will be self-motivated to maintain an organized stores and solution-based approach to vehicle management.
This role will require a hands-on approach to ensure equipment is delivered and prepared in time for installations, stock levels are maintained for our servicing department, and the stores area is kept tidy.
The key areas of delivery are:
Be the main point of contact for fleet enquiries and booking service, MOT, vehicle repairs and regular inspections
- Checking in deliveries against delivery notes
- Ordering equipment from suppliers to maintain stock levels of frequent spares and parts for the servicing department
- Preparation of engineer packs for equipment collections
- Arranging returns as required with good communication skills with supplies and updating company procedures
- Data input onto CRM system to keep stock values assigned and up to date
- Organising the stores area, keeping working areas clean and tidy
- Arranging collections of recycled materials returned to the office
- To carry out stock takes and inventory lists
- Processing returns, completing returns forms, packaging and dispatch
- Comply with all Health & Safety, Environment and Quality policies
Additional day-to-day tasks may be required of you as agreed with your line manager.

Pay: £26,436.80-£28,089.10 per year
