Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise restaurant staff to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent customer service.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards.
- Manage team schedules, delegate tasks, and motivate staff to achieve operational goals.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all areas of the restaurant.
- Assist with food production, including preparing ingredients and supporting kitchen activities as needed.
- Monitor service delivery, address customer concerns promptly, and uphold high levels of hospitality.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and efficient workflow.
- Maintain organisation within the restaurant environment, including stock control and cleanliness.
- Support training programmes for new team members and ongoing development for existing staff.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory or team management role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food production.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Previous experience in serving, hospitality, or hotel environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, barista experience, or hotel experience will be considered advantageous.
- Exceptional organisational skills coupled with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
