We are looking for an experienced and flexible Nursery Manager to work across our nursery settings, providing leadership cover and operational support where needed.
This role is ideal for a confident, adaptable manager who thrives in varied environments and enjoys supporting teams to deliver care and education to the highest standard.
This management role is to work between all of our nurseries to cover manager absence including maternity cover, annual leave & sickness and support new or developing settings, and help maintain consistent standards across all nurseries. Our Nurseries are based in Knowle, Shirley, Hall Green and Handsworth Wood.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide day to day management cover across multiple nursery settings
- Lead, motivate and support staff teams to deliver high quality care and education
- Ensure compliance with EYFS, Ofsted, Safeguarding and Health and Safety requirements
- Support staff performance, supervision and development
- Maintain strong relationships with parents carers and external professionals
- Act as a positive role model, promoting our values and ethos at all times
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience as a Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager
- Relevant Early Years qualification (Level 3 minimum; Level 5/6 desirable)
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS, Safeguarding and Ofsted Requirements
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Willingness to travel between different nursery locations
