Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Buyer-Supplements to join our team in the UK. This role is vital in sourcing high-quality supplement products, negotiating with suppliers, and managing supply chain logistics to ensure our customers receive exceptional products efficiently . Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end procurement for assigned categories, including supplier sourcing, negotiation, and contract management
- Partner closely with Product Development, Supply Chain, and Technical teams to bring new products from concept to launch
- Identify market trends, customer needs, and innovation opportunities within the health and wellness sector
- Drive supplier collaboration to support new product development (NPD), reformulations, and cost improvements
- Own pricing strategies, margin optimisation, and cost-saving initiatives
- Monitor supplier performance and mitigate supply chain risks
- Work closely with Supply Chain, Planning, and Operations teams to ensure continuity of supply, effective inventory management, and successful product launches
Key Skills & Experience Required:
· Proven experience as a Buyer, ideally within FMCG, supplements, or health products
· Strong background in supplier negotiation and strategic sourcing
· Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority
· Commercially astute with strong analytical and decision-making skills
· Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
· Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
· Knowledge of UK/EU regulatory requirements in supplements or consumer goods (desirable)
Leadership & Product Development Capabilities:
· Experience guiding products from concept through formulation, sourcing, and launch
· Ability to align technical, commercial, and customer perspectives
· Strong project management skills with a hands-on, delivery-focused mindset
· Comfortable acting as a bridge between suppliers, internal teams, and innovation strategy
