Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled Bar Staff to join our dynamic team. As a member of our bar staff, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring they have a memorable experience. You will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and providing assistance to customers in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
- Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible service of alcohol.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not essential.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively.
- A willingness to help colleagues and contribute positively to the team atmosphere.
