Duties
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of senior chefs
- Support the organisation and management of food production processes
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Help with kitchen organisation, including stock rotation and cleanliness
- Supervise junior team members and ensure efficient workflow during shifts
- Contribute to maintaining a positive team environment and supporting team management tasks
- Support the training of new staff members in food safety and preparation procedures
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment and looking to take the next step in your career
- Supervising experience or team management skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and restaurant operations is preferred
- Experience with food production, culinary techniques, and food preparation will be highly valued
- Familiarity with cooking processes, hospitality practices
