We are looking for a chef to join our friendly team at Little Oldway Care Home. The chef is required to provide a cooked lunch and supper for up to 30 clients using fresh and locally sourced ingredient's (where possible)
The role includes, but is not limited to-
· Cooking and preparing fresh, nutritious food for clients and staff in a timely manner
· Following a menu plan
· Providing and responding to and special dietary requirements or preferences
· Liaising with clients and staff
· Ensuring high standard of cleanliness is maintained within the kitchen at all times
· Adhering to all food hygiene and safety standards.
· Recording food temperatures

Requirements
· DBS check
· Good time keeping/management
· Excellent communication
· Reliable
· Experience of 1 year cooking
· Experience of working in a care home setting/dementia desirable
