Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Nurse to join our team at A Bright Start Nursery in Rumney. This role is crucial in fostering a safe and engaging atmosphere for children, contributing to their growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years.
- Create engaging learning activities that promote children's development.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children's progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the nursery's educational programs.
- Observe and assess children's development regularly.
- Support the implementation of early years curriculum standards.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications in childcare or early childhood education (Level 2 or Level 3).
- Experience working with young children in a nursery setting.
- Strong understanding of child development principles.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and enthusiasm for working with children.
We are offering a variety of working hours from 16 to 40 hours per week, with the bonus not working a full week to ensure our staff have at least 1 day off per week! Holiday Pay, Free uniform plus a uniform allowance and so many more employee perks.
