An Exciting Opportunity Has Arisen to Join Salford's Highly Regarded Primary Inclusion Team (PIT).
Established in 2015, the Primary Inclusion Team has built a strong reputation across Salford for its relational, child-centred and solution-focused approach. Through coaching, consultation, training and specialist support, the team combines high levels of support with professional challenge to help schools develop sustainable inclusive practice and improve outcomes for children experiencing social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) difficulties.
Due to the expansion of the service through Department for Education (DfE) Experts at Hand funding, we are seeking two experienced and highly skilled teachers to join our team: one full-time post and one part-time post.
This is a unique opportunity to work beyond a single school setting and make a significant difference to children, families and school communities across the city.
We are seeking outstanding teachers with a passion for inclusion and a strong understanding of the factors that can affect children's participation, engagement and success within mainstream education.
The successful candidates will join an experienced and supportive specialist team with a strong culture of collaboration, reflective practice and continuous professional learning. Team members share expertise generously, work together to solve complex challenges and benefit from ongoing opportunities for professional development, coaching and collaboration with colleagues across education, health and wider support services.

Have a secure understanding of the range of factors that can create barriers to a child's participation, engagement and success within mainstream education.
Have excellent communication, coaching and consultation skills and be able to support school staff to develop effective inclusive practice.
Be confident in providing both support and professional challenge to senior leaders and staff across a range of school contexts.
Have experience of supporting children with SEMH needs through relational, inclusive and evidence-informed practice.
Have experience of delivering high-quality and engaging training and professional development.
Be an effective and adaptable team player with strong interpersonal skills.HOME
Demonstrate resilience, self-reflection and a sense of humour.
Be committed to improving outcomes for children and young people through collaborative working and solution-focused practice.
Only applications from experienced teachers will be considered.
