Duties
- Manage and maintain cloud-based services, including AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Azure, ensuring high availability and security of cloud infrastructure
- Develop, test, and deploy applications using programming languages such as Python and Java, adhering to best practices in software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Administer and support operating systems including Windows and Linux, ensuring optimal performance and security compliance
- Design, develop, and consume APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) for system integrations and data exchange
- Maintain databases using SQL and Oracle, performing regular backups, tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure data integrity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement DevOps practices that streamline deployment pipelines and automate workflows
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues proactively, and implement solutions to minimize downtime
- Support network infrastructure and security protocols to safeguard organizational data against cyber threats
Skills
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure for infrastructure management
- Strong proficiency in SQL databases including Oracle; ability to write complex queries and optimize database performance
- Programming expertise in Python and Java for application development and automation tasks
- Solid understanding of operating systems like Windows and Linux; capable of troubleshooting OS-level issues
- Knowledge of DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and automation processes
- Familiarity with APIs for integrating different software systems effectively
- Understanding of SDLC methodologies for managing software projects from inception through deployment
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to system maintenance and upgrades
