We are a small business providing support to adults with learning disabilities across Greater Manchester through Supported Living Services and Community Hubs. We have a small team of managers who support the wider support staff across Salford and Stockport. You will be based in our office in Eccles working directly with the managers to ensure the smooth running of the organisation. Further training in our systems will be available.

- Responsibilities :- Support the Office and other managers with the general running of the business including organising staff rotas, budgeting, timesheets, invoicing and general HR
- Answer the phone and emails and direct queries to the appropriate person
- Greet and support visitors
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for multiple staff members
- Perform general clerical duties, such as photocopying, faxing, filing, and organizing documents
- Deal with members of the wider staff team, the people who use our service, their families and the wider social work teams.
- Assist with rota's and staff allocation. Maintain and co-ordinate holidays and staff cover
- Provide customer support by answering inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
- Perform data entry tasks using sector specific software
- Assist with proofreading documents for accuracy and clarity
- You will also, in time, form part of our second tier on call service on a rota basis, providing support for the initial on call system.
- Qualifications:
- - Previous experience as a administrative assistant, or in a similar role is preferred
- - Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate efficiently and effectively in a diverse environment
- Desirable
- Some experience or knowledge of social care would be an advantage
- Ability to use own initiative and confidence to lone work. You will often be lone working although have access to the managers
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document preparation
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment
- This is a part time ( 3 days a week, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 9am util 3.15
