Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks according to standard recipes while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
- Assist in training new staff members on bar procedures and customer service standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred.
- Strong hospitality skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- A friendly demeanour with strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
