JOB TITLE: Experienced Furniture Sprayer / Polisher
LOCATION: Bradford
WORKING HOURS: 7am - 5.15pm, Monday - Thursday. 39 hours

We're looking for an experienced Experienced Furniture Sprayer / Polisher to join our manufacturing team in Bradford. This is an opportunity to work a 4-day week, producing high-quality contract furniture used across healthcare, hospitality, care homes and specialist environments.
The successful candidate will have strong experience in furniture finishing and be confident working to a high standard across a range of furniture and materials.
What you'll be doing
- Prepare furniture surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and masking areas as needed before applying finishes.
- Mix and match paints, stains, lacquers, or varnishes to achieve desired color and finish effects.
- Operate spray guns, brushes, polishing machines, and other hand or power tools safely and efficiently.
- Apply multiple coats of finish with precision, ensuring even coverage and optimal adhesion.
- Polish finished furniture to enhance appearance and smoothness using appropriate techniques and tools.
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance, making touch-ups or corrections as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a furniture sprayer or polisher with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Experience within a furniture manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
- Mechanical knowledge of spray equipment, power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and understand construction painting processes.
- Familiarity with assembly processes and the use of basic math for measurements and calculations
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity and craftsmanship skills.
