Join our dynamic team at the Millennium Forum as a Cleaning Operative and play a vital role in maintaining a pristine, safe, and welcoming environment. This energetic position offers the opportunity to contribute to the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the building, ensuring they are spotless and well-organized for staff, visitors, and clients alike.
This role is 3 days per week - shift times are 08:30 to 11:30am
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of the premises, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas, ensuring all spaces meet hygiene standards.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Follow detailed cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet roll to maintain continuous availability.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly to ensure swift resolution and safety compliance.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to detail in all cleaning activities.
- Support team members during busy periods or special cleaning projects as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety procedures is essential.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure thoroughness in every task.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout shifts.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
