We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Oswestry from September. The Role
As a PE Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Teach a broad range of sports and physical activities in line with the national curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and achievement.
- Assess, monitor, and support student progress.
- Organise and support extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and school events.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the success of the PE department.
- Maintain high standards of classroom management and student behaviour.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Physical Education within a secondary school.
- Strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- Registration with the appropriate teaching body, where applicable.
