About Goleudy
Goleudy works to prevent homelessness and create lasting change for people across South Wales. We provide supported housing, tenancy support and meaningful opportunities to improve wellbeing, safety and long-term independence. Our mission is to help people build brighter futures through safe accommodation, tailored support and opportunities to grow.
What Makes Goleudy Different
We use Solution‑Focused Practice (SFP) — a strengths-based approach that helps people recognise what’s going well and build on their existing abilities. You don’t need experience with SFP; we provide full training and ongoing support to help you grow.
About the Role
As a Hostel Support Worker, you will support residents living in Goleudy’s supported accommodation. Many residents will have experienced homelessness or may be overcoming challenges including mental health issues, substance use, trauma, offending history or financial instability.
Your role is to:
- Help residents stay safe and settled in the accommodation
- Support residents to develop life skills and confidence
- Work with them on their support plans
- Help them progress towards independent living and moving into their own long‑term home
This is a shift-based role that may include evenings, weekends and bank holidays to ensure residents receive the support they need.
