Nursery Manager – Portsmouth, Hampshire
Salary: £36,000–£45,000 per year (depending on experience, hours, and qualifications)
Hours: 35–40 hours per week | Monday–Friday (4 days considered) | Shifts between 7:30am–6:00pm
Contract: Permanent, all year round

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager ready to take the next step or an existing Nursery Manager seeking a fresh challenge. You'll lead a dedicated team in a nurturing, child-centred setting where kindness, curiosity, and meaningful relationships are at the heart of everything we do.

Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire the nursery team to deliver outstanding care and education
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery
- Ensure compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements
- Support staff through mentoring, supervisions, and professional development
- Manage occupancy, recruitment, budgets, and nursery targets
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and the wider community
About You
- Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Previous Deputy Manager or Nursery Manager experience
- Strong knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted requirements
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Passionate about delivering exceptional childcare
- Eligible to work in the UK
