We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Kitchen Manager to oversee daily operations within our busy kitchen environment. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all kitchen staff, including cooks, KPs and service personnel, ensuring efficient team management.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to guarantee quality standards are consistently met.
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Implement and monitor hygiene practices to uphold health and safety standards within the kitchen environment.
- Develop menus in collaboration with the management team, incorporating innovative dishes while maintaining operational feasibility.
- Train new staff members on food safety procedures, cooking techniques, and customer service expectations.
- Ensure compliance with licensing, health regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Monitor kitchen operations during service hours to optimise workflow and minimise waste.
- Handle customer feedback professionally to resolve any issues promptly and effectively.
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen or restaurant setting.
