Job Description:
Exchange Coffee Company are Coffee Roasters & Tea Merchants and we have been roasting coffee over 35 years

The job will be a minimum of 3 days per week of 4 hrs per day.
12 hours per week minimum, with the opportunity of extra hours to cover holidays and busy periods of the year.
The job is a varied role within our 2 storey Coffee House (there are stairs so it will keep you fit!)
Duties
- Creating a welcoming atmosphere, taking customer orders, and offering recommendations.
- Preparing drinks on our Espresso machines
- Grinding coffee beans into cafetieres
- Cleaning tables, maintain cleanliness of work areas, coffee machines & equipment and end of day cleaning.
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Weighing coffee beans and loose tea in the front of the shop.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain the friendly work environment.
Qualifications
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, friendly & dynamic environment.
- Have a passion for coffee & tea or a willingness to learn! (All hot drinks provided)
- Previous coffee shop experience would be great but not essential as full training will be given.
- Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Someone who is punctual, reliable, self motivated and works well in a small team and will happily use a mop!
