Maths Graduate – Secondary School

Are you a recent Mathematics graduate looking to gain valuable classroom experience before pursuing a career in teaching?
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Maths Graduates to work in secondary schools across Portsmouth. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates considering teacher training or looking to develop their skills in education while making a real difference to young people's learning.
As a Maths Graduate, you will:
- Support students in Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Deliver one-to-one and small group intervention sessions.
- Help pupils build confidence and improve their mathematical understanding.
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
- Encourage student engagement and positive behaviour.
- Gain first-hand experience of working in a secondary school environment.
What We're Looking For
- A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for education and supporting young people.
- Confidence working with secondary-aged students.
- Previous tutoring, mentoring, coaching or youth work experience is desirable but not essential.
