Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Conveyancer to join our growing property team. In this role, you will independently manage a diverse portfolio of residential property transactions from initial instruction through to post completion. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, estate agents, and lenders, ensuring a smooth, transparent, and legally compliant transfer of ownership. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical legal expertise with exceptional communication skills to deliver a high quality service under tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Manage full caseloads from initial instruction to post completion.
- Draft legal documents including contracts, transfer deeds, and formal statements.
- Conduct property searches via local authorities and environmental agencies.
- Review title deeds to identify restrictions, covenants, or defects.
- Liaise with external parties including lenders, estate agents, and solicitors.
- Advise clients clearly on legal risks, progress, and obligations.
- Handle financial transactions including mortgage funds, deposits, and stamp duty.
- Exchange contracts successfully and manage the final completion process.
- Ensure strict compliance with AML (Anti-Money Laundering) regulations.
Skills
- Proven experience independently managing a busy residential property caseload.
- Technical knowledge of freehold, leasehold, and registered land processes.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex legal issues to lay clients.
- Strong organisation to balance tight deadlines and moving completion dates.
- Meticulous attention to detail when checking contracts and title documentation.
- Proactive problem solver capable of resolving chain delays and title defects.
- Tech proficiency using modern conveyancing Case Management Systems (CMS).
- Strict compliance focus regarding AML, KYC, and Cyber Security protocols.

Pay: £30,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
