Job Summary
Apex Property Management is a professional, owner‑managed private sector housing provider dedicated to delivering top‑tier property maintenance and management solutions to our tenants. As an owner‑managed landlord, our focus is on ensuring that all our properties are well‑maintained, safe and comfortable, while providing a responsive and reliable service.
We are looking for a proactive and organised Lettings Coordinator to support our growing portfolio. You will report directly to our Portfolio Manager and play a key role in the smooth running of day‑to‑day lettings operations.
Responsibilities
- Marketing properties — creating listings, updating portals, arranging photography, and ensuring adverts are accurate and appealing.
- Conducting viewings — arranging and attending viewings while providing excellent service to prospective tenants.
- Referencing — coordinating tenant and guarantor checks, following up on outstanding documents, and ensuring compliance.
- Check‑ins & Check‑outs — preparing inventories, meeting tenants, and ensuring smooth move‑ins and move‑outs.
- Routine inspections — carrying out property inspections and reporting maintenance issues promptly.
- Organising maintenance — liaising with contractors, scheduling repairs, and ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
- Utilities management — setting up and closing utility accounts, ensuring accurate meter readings and smooth transitions.
- General lettings administration — managing emails, tenancy files, documentation, and supporting the Portfolio Manager with daily tasks.
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Confidence in dealing with tenants, landlords, and contractors
- Previous lettings or property experience is beneficial but not essential
- A positive, proactive attitude
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
