We are seeking a talented and passionate Hairdresser to join our dynamic salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for helping clients look and feel their best. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality hairdressing services while providing exceptional client care and fostering a positive salon atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Provide a wide range of hairdressing services including cutting, colouring, styling, and specialised treatments tailored to client preferences.
- Offer expert advice on haircare products and styling techniques to maximise client satisfaction.
- Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance the client experience and increase sales.
- Manage front desk duties including appointment scheduling, client check-in, and maintaining an organised work environment.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety throughout the salon.
- Build strong relationships with clients through attentive customer service and personalised consultations.
- Build strong client base by being the friendly hairdresser that people can rely on.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Hairdresser (at least 5 years experience) Barbering would be a plus!
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Ability to manage front desk operations efficiently whilst delivering outstanding service.
- Organised with the ability to upsell products and services confidently.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends if required.
- Valid certification or licence in hairdressing recognised within the UK.
- A passion for continuous learning and staying updated with current trends in hairdressing and beauty treatments.
Pay: From £120.00 per day
