About the role
Work hours are:
Mon-Fri: 3.30-7.00pm
Sat: Morning
Once qualified, successful trainees will be employed as swimming teachers at the following site:
- Arc Leisure Matlock, Bakewell Road, Matlock, DE4 3AZ, 01629 581322
- Bakewell Swimming Pool & Gym, Granby Road, Bakewell, DE45 1ES, 01629 814205
- Ashbourne Leisure Centre, Clifton Road, Ashbourne, DE6 1DR, 01335 343712

Shortlisted applicants will be given the opportunity to find out more about the swimming teacher opportunity at an informal virtual meet and greet session and interview that will take place after the closing date. You don't need any prior qualifications to apply as you will be supported through your training, although we are accepting applications from those who are halfway through their swimming teacher training or already have their level 1 or 2 qualifications.
There may be an opportunity for Swimming teachers to complete other qualifications e.g. lifesaving qualification (Pool Lifeguard). Swimming Teachers will be required to sign a training agreement with a commitment to work for Freedom Leisure for a minimum of two years.
