Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar and Wait Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidates will deliver exceptional customer service in a lively environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. Previous experience in hospitality will help, but full training will be provided for motivated individuals. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic team dedicated to quality service and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service of beverages.
- Welcoming customers and seating them.
- Serve drinks at the bar and tables with professionalism and friendliness.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and around the pub.
- Pour pints from our gravity fed barrels.
- Handle card transactions accurately.
- Assist in closing down at the end of the night.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and drink options.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods.
- Monitor guest satisfaction levels and respond promptly to any concerns or requests.
- Occasionally put away stock and potentially lifting casks/moving barrels if possible.
Experience
- No experience needed: We will teach you everything about pouring beer, handling real ale, and keeping the pub running.
- Personality is everything: We need people who are naturally confident, outgoing, and energetic.
- Always proactive: Whether you're working behind the bar or out on the floor, you bring high energy, stay busy, and keep the conversation flowing with our regulars.
- Strong serving skills with a friendly, approachable manner
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
