An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Manager to join our growing and ambitious construction company during an exciting period of expansion. We are looking for a motivated and organised individual to oversee the day-to-day finance function and support the continued growth of the business. Previous experience within the construction sector would be an advantage but is not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production of quarterly management accounts
- Preparation and submission of VAT Returns/PAYE/CIS returns
- Bank reconciliations
- Management of purchase ledger
- Management of sales ledger
- Assisting with general financial controls and reporting
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience in a similar finance/accounting role
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Good working knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- Construction industry experience desirable but not essential
