Job Overview
In this role, you will engage with customers, promote postal products and services, and ensure smooth communication. Your energetic approach and excellent communication skills will help foster positive relationships, enhance customer satisfaction, and support the efficient operation of our outreach service. No experience is required, as full training is provided; just a willingness to learn and follow post office procedures. A driver's license and access to a vehicle are essential to drive to the different locations. Candidates must also be able to complete the DBS check.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with postal services, including mailing, shipping, and package tracking.
- Promote postal products, services, and community programs through engaging communication.
- Provide clear information about mailing options, rates, and delivery times to meet customer needs.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and customer interactions for reporting purposes.
- Address customer inquiries promptly with professionalism and a positive attitude, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum of C in Maths and English at GCSE level
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with diverse audiences.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic computer literacy for record-keeping and communication purposes.
