Job Summary
The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest comfort throughout the resort's guest rooms and public areas. This role plays a key part in delivering an exceptional guest experience by ensuring accommodation is clean, welcoming, and prepared to the resort's luxury standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and corridors in accordance with resort standards.
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities.
- Vacuum, dust, polish, and sanitise all assigned areas.
- Ensure rooms are fully prepared and inspected before guest arrivals.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, and lost property promptly.
- Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and cleaning supplies in a safe and organised manner.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Respond courteously and professionally to guest requests and enquiries.
- Assist with deep-cleaning projects and seasonal housekeeping tasks when required.
- Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Follow all resort policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Skills and ExperienceEssential
- Previous housekeeping, cleaning, or hospitality experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time-management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Flexibility to work weekends, bank holidays, and varying shifts.
Desirable
- Experience working in a luxury hotel, spa, or resort environment.
