Zerohour Contract - As an when required to cover for annual leave and sickness
· Candidates must be community focused- social care background preferred but not essential
-You will lead our community cafe in its day to day operations.
· Shifts available in our community cafe "Possobilities Cafe" and our Social Enterprise Cafe "Pitsop" both in the G22 area.
· Responsible for supervising cafe volunteers, some with disabilities/learning difficulties
· Preparing, cooking and serving hot and cold café and takeaway food
. Cash Handling including Cash Till, card reader, and cashing up
. Customer service
· General kitchen duties
· Shifts pattern; Possobilities Community Cafe 9.15am - 1.45pm. Pitstop private employee 8 or 9 am – 3pm Both operate Monday to Friday
· The organisation will seek to give reasonable notice of upcoming shifts.
Person Specification
· Experience working in a kitchen, including food preparation, cooking and service
· Ability to work well as part of a team and be flexible, including working with people with disabilities
· Good communication skills with colleagues and the customers
· Food Hygiene Certificate and/or other relevant qualifications essential
· Can do, positive, helpful attitude
Job Type: Zero hours contract
Pay: £12.71 per hour
