We’re Hiring: Web & API Pentester
Viperhive Security is looking for a hands-on Web & API Pentester to support our remote cybersecurity operations.
Compensation:
- First three months: ₹2,000 per month during the initial performance-evaluation period
- From the fourth month: ₹13,500 per month following successful evaluation and written confirmation of continued engagement
- Progression will depend on testing quality, reporting accuracy, reliability, communication and adherence to security procedures
Responsibilities:
- Conduct manual web application and API security testing
- Identify OWASP Top 10, authentication, authorization and business-logic vulnerabilities
- Collect clear and reproducible technical evidence
- Prepare professional vulnerability assessment reports
- Recommend practical remediation steps
- Perform retesting after fixes
- Maintain strict confidentiality and follow approved testing scopes
Required skills:
- Practical experience with Burp Suite and Postman
- Strong understanding of web and API security
- Knowledge of OWASP Web Security Testing Guide and OWASP API Security Top 10
- Ability to distinguish genuine vulnerabilities from false positives
- Strong technical reporting and communication skills
- Responsible and ethical approach to security testing
