We are looking for an exceptional Head Chef to lead the kitchen at PTMY Morpeth
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and ambitious chef who takes pride in producing outstanding food, developing people, and driving a high-performing kitchen. You'll have the freedom to influence menus, maintain exceptional standards, and work with quality seasonal produce in a fast-paced, premium environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading and motivating the kitchen team.
- Delivering consistently high-quality food and presentation.
- Managing food GP, labour costs and stock control.
- Producing seasonal menus and daily specials.
- Training, mentoring and developing junior chefs.
- Maintaining the highest food safety and hygiene standards.
- Working closely with front-of-house to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
- Driving consistency, creativity and commercial performance.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has previous experience as a Head Chef or experienced Sous Chef ready for the next step.
- Is passionate about fresh, quality food.
- Has strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Understands kitchen financials including GP, stock management and labour control.
- Thrives under pressure while maintaining high standards.
- Has excellent knowledge of HACCP and food safety legislation.
- Leads by example with a positive, hands-on attitude.
