We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Team Supervisor to join our Reablement Service. This is an great opportunity to lead a team of committed Reablement Assistants who help people regain confidence, develop skills and maintain their independence within their own homes.
As a Team Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting your team to deliver outstanding, person-centered services that achieve meaningful outcomes for residents across Worcestershire.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Team Supervisor, you will provide leadership, guidance and support to a team of up to 24 Reablement Assistants, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and high-quality support services.
Your responsibilities will include:

Leading, motivating and developing a team of up to 24 Reablement Assistants

Supporting recruitment, onboarding, induction and training activities

Conducting regular supervisions, appraisals and performance management discussions

Promoting a positive culture of learning, accountability and continuous improvement

Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, safeguarding requirements and best practice

Maintaining accurate records and high standards of documentation
-
Contributing to quality assurance activities and service development initiatives

Participating in a duty rota to support service delivery across 7 days a week, 365 days a year

Working collaboratively with colleagues, partner agencies and stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for service users

You will have:

Experience of leading or supervising teams and managing performance effectively

Knowledge and understanding of Reablement principles and person-centred practice

Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills

Confidence in chairing meetings and producing professional reports

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
-
A commitment to supporting and developing staff

Experience or understanding of quality assurance processes and continuous improvement

Good IT skills and confidence using digital systems and databases
-
A proactive, resilient and professional approach to service deliver
