SALES ADVISOR
Bourne & Stamford Shops | Permanent | 4 Days Per Week (Rota Basis)
OVERVIEW
We're looking for an enthusiastic and customer focused Sales Advisor to join us, working across our Bourne and Stamford shops. This is a permanent position working 4 days per week on a rota basis.
Our shops are open Monday to Saturday, 9am – 5pm, and Sunday, 10am – 4pm, so you'll need to be available for regular weekend and Bank Holiday working.
We're looking for someone who genuinely loves helping customers, takes pride in their work, and is passionate about creating memorable shopping experiences.

You'll love interacting with customers and take the time to understand what they're looking for. Friendly, approachable and proactive, you'll enjoy going the extra mile to create memorable experiences and help customers discover products they'll love.
You'll be hands on, enjoy staying busy and be happy getting involved in all aspects of shop life, from serving customers and replenishing stock to receiving deliveries and maintaining high shop standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Deliver a warm, welcoming and engaging customer experience.
· Build genuine relationships with customers and confidently advise on products and gifting solutions.
· Contribute to shop sales by providing knowledgeable, personalised service.
· Identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience in a natural and authentic way.
· Develop a strong knowledge of our products, collections and seasonal ranges.
· Ensure the shop is always well presented, inviting and ready for customers.
· Replenish stock and maintain beautiful product displays.
· Receive deliveries and support stock management processes.
· Process cash and card transactions accurately.
· Support opening, closing and cashing-up procedures as required.
· Remain informed on all relevant risk assessment and H&S measures in place.
· Adhere to all H&S policies relevant to their role and department.
EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS
· Previous retail or customer-facing experience is desirable.
· A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
· Confident communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a wide range of customers.
· Naturally friendly, enthusiastic and approachable.
· Commercially minded, with the ability to support sales through excellent customer engagement.
· Positive, reliable and hardworking with a can do attitude.
· Comfortable working in a hands on retail environment.
· Well organised with excellent time keeping.
· Flexible to work across both Bourne and Stamford stores.
· Available for regular weekend and Bank Holiday working.
· An interest in homewares, gifts, lifestyle products or interiors would be an advantage.
· The successful candidate must have Right to Work in the UK.
