Anaerobic Digestion Feedstock Manager
£45,000 - £55,000 + Car Allowance

Alecto Recruitment is working exclusively with an energy service provider looking to employ an Anaerobic Digestion Feedstock Manager to work from home to work with agricultural and waste feedstock suppliers and plant managers across their portfolio of AD plants.

Responsibilities:
-
Identify feedstock sources and opportunities.
-
Cultivate leads and track them through to completion.

Visit new and existing suppliers and develop/maintain relationships.

Organise, plan, and schedule feedstock deliveries across the portfolio of sites, ensuring they arrive on time and to expected specifications.

Sourcing feedstock for disaster recovery purposes

Feedstock contract management e.g. negotiations/reviews

Feedstock sampling and inspection regimes

Maintain a testing and monitoring regime on new and existing feedstock lines.

Track feedstock usage and expenditure and report back to site managers and directors

Compile feedstock performance data and KPI reporting

Perform regular site visits and build strong working relationships with site managers to understand their site processes and requirements.

Assist with site audits relating to feedstock - PAS 110

Develop and manage a strategy for digestate management and disposal for all sites.

Investigate and develop a monetarised disposal route if practicable.

Assist with training and understanding for site staff of feedstock usage and quality.
Qualifications/ experience:
-
3 years' experience in Anaerobic Digestion or a similar industry such as waste management, recycling or organics.

Demonstrable experience of feedstock procurement, supplier management or waste sourcing.

Strong commercial negotiation and supplier management skills.

Experience of managing logistics and coordinating material movements across multiple sites.

Able to manage multiple priorities across a portfolio of sites.
Full clean driving license.
