Summary
We are seeking a passionate Street Dance / Hip Hop Teacher to join our dynamic team in Woking. This role is vital in nurturing young talent and spreading the joy of dance through engaging and energetic lessons.
Qualifications
Must have professional training in dance or dance teacher training. Paediatric first aid training is desirable but can be arranged through Boogie Pumps if you do not already obtain this certificate. Experience in teaching children ages 4-11 is essential, and experience supporting children with SEND.
Responsibilities
- Lead energetic street dance and hip hop classes tailored for the children in the room.
- Develop creative choreography that aligns with our school's fun and lively ethos.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment encouraging student confidence.
- Manage class schedules and ensure a safe, engaging space for all participants.
- Support students' progress by providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with the school you’re in to enhance program offerings.
- Promote upcoming classes and events within the community.
- Maintain equipment and classroom organization to ensure smooth sessions.
