We have an exciting opportunity for a Tours Coordinator, also known as a Tours Product Owner to join our Destination Experience Team. In this role you will be pivotal in shaping Fred. Olsen’s shore excursion offerings to ensure they align with brand values, meet diverse guest needs, and drive revenue. You will manage all aspects of tour product development, from negotiating contracts and controlling costs to maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring guest satisfaction.
The world is a mix of different cultures, natural wonders, sights and adventures all waiting for our guests to explore and experience. Our Destination Experiences Team pride themselves on understanding different locations and working with our local tour providers to tailor make tour programmes that suit the interests of our guests and showcase the very best that the destinations have to offer.
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about travel, collaborates well with team members and local suppliers, and actively seeking to improve the tour product to provide guests with memorable tours that enhance their holiday experience. To be successful in this position you will need to be organised with excellent communication skills along with the ability to manage your time effectively to successfully meet deadlines.
Experience within the travel industry would be desirable however is not essential, we are keen to hear from candidates who have experience in managing relationships effectively and proven experience of delivering excellent customer satisfaction whilst achieving high financial returns.
This is a full-time, permanent position working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, offering a hybrid working pattern. As part of the role, you will have the exciting opportunity to visit destinations and occasionally travel onboard our ships, gaining valuable first-hand insight into the guest experience. A driving licence is not required, however the successful candidate must be confident travelling independently when necessary.
