Job Overview
We are seeking an Assessor to carryout assessments for electrical students. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for assessing and potentially teaching, with the ability to utilise a range of digital tools and learning management systems. Responsibilities
- Carryout Professional discussions, observations and implement comprehensive assessment strategies tailored to the XS Training organisational needs.
- Assist assessors within the workshop with delivery of practical activities.
- Assess effectiveness through feedback, evaluations, and performance metrics, adjusting assessment plans and strategies accordingly.
- Mentor learners by providing ongoing support to enhance their skills and knowledge through NVQ assessments.
- Collaborate with Human Resources to identify training needs and align programmes with organisational objectives.
- Create compelling materials that facilitate effective assessment methods, questions and evidence to enhance the learners experience.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages participation, questions, and continuous improvement.
- Attend ELEX show when required.
- Create video content for YouTube with social media team.
- Carry out site assessments on occasions when other assessors can't attend.
Skills
- Must be a fully qualified Electrician.
- Experience with Online training .
- Strong assessing abilities with a focus on adult learners.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Experience mentoring colleagues or employees to develop their professional capabilities.
- Carrying out Internal Verification on assessments carried out by other assessors. Qualification not required.
