Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Ground Worker / Labourer to join our team. This role involves assisting with various construction and landscaping projects, supporting the smooth operation of site activities. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, eager to learn, work as part of a team or work off his own initiative.
- Digging trenches, holes, and foundations as required
- Moving and transporting materials around the site using manual handling techniques or basic equipment
- Supporting skilled tradespeople with their tasks as needed
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by tidying tools and clearing waste
- Following health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a secure working environment
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction, landscaping, or labouring is advantageous
- Good physical fitness and stamina for manual tasks and outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team
- Basic understanding of health and safety practices on construction sites
- Willingness to learn new skills and undertake physical labour consistently
- A valid UK driving licence is essential.
This role is suitable for motivated individuals who are keen to work.
Pay: £13.00-£17.00 per hour
