Nursery Room Leader – Reading, Berkshire
Salary: £32,045–£34,255 per year / Up to £15.50 per hour (depending on experience, qualifications and age)
Hours: 40 or 42.5 hours per week | 4 or 5 Days | Shifts between 7:30am–6:30pm
Contract: Permanent, all year round
Please note: A driver is required due to the rural location and limited public transport. We cannot accommodate term-time or school-hours working.

Surrounded by meadows and forest school areas, our nursery provides children with the opportunity to learn, explore, and thrive outdoors. We are looking for a dedicated Room Leader to lead a room and support the wider nursery team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Room Leader looking for a new challenge, or a Nursery Practitioner ready to take the next step in their career within a supportive and inspiring setting.

Responsibilities
- Lead your room and support the practitioners within your team
- Provide high-quality childcare and early education experiences for all children
- Support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Contribute to the continued development and success of the nursery
About You
- Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (full and relevant)
- Previous experience as a Room Leader or Nursery Practitioner
- Passionate about outdoor learning and child development
- Patient, friendly, and an excellent team player
- Strong communication skills when working with children, parents, and colleagues
- Eligible to work in the UK
