Overview
We are seeking a versatile and experienced Multi-skilled Builder to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of skills across various trades, enabling them to contribute effectively to diverse building projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and take pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship. The successful applicant will be responsible for executing tasks across multiple disciplines, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Carry out carpentry tasks, including framing, fitting, and finishing work
- Perform roofing repairs and installations with attention to safety and quality standards
- Conduct construction painting, ensuring surfaces are prepared and finished to specification
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with regulations
- Undertake masonry work such as bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete finishing
- Operate welding equipment for structural or decorative purposes
- Handle electrical tasks within scope of experience, including wiring and fixture installation
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently across various trades
- Fabricate components as required for specialised construction or renovation projects
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and project completion deadlines are met
Experience
- Proven experience in multiple trades such as carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, welding, or electrical work
- Demonstrable ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Experience in fabrication processes is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction industry
- Ability to adapt quickly to different project requirements and work independently or as part of a team
- Previous experience working on diverse building sites is preferred but not essential; training will be provided where necessary

Pay: £100.00-£250.00 per day
