Duties
- To develop and manage existing customers and generate additional sales, in line with our sales plan, and the agreed annual targets.
- Act as a liaison between the company and customers, addressing any concerns or issues that arise
- Provide product knowledge and support to customers, ensuring they have a clear understanding of the company's offerings
- Conduct regular visits to client locations to assess needs and provide recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful implementation of solutions
- Attend Purbeck Ice Cream trade events as required, and possibly some weekend events
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales or account management roles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to address client needs and find appropriate solutions
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned area
