Do you enjoy meeting new people and take pride in helping others? We're looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Retail Assistant to join our team at BP/SPAR Kegworth Service Station.
This is a varied and fast-paced role where no two days are the same. You'll be helping customers, keeping the store looking its best, and supporting the day-to-day running of the business to ensure every customer has a positive experience.
Whether you already have retail experience or are looking for your first opportunity in customer service, we'd love to hear from you. Full training and support will be provided, making this a great opportunity to build valuable skills and confidence in a welcoming team environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Greeting customers with a friendly smile and providing excellent service.
- Serving customers and handling transactions accurately and professionally.
- Authorising fuel pumps and assisting customers with any queries.
- Helping to keep shelves stocked and products readily available.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and welcoming store environment.
- Assisting with deliveries, stock rotation, and general housekeeping tasks.
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the store.
- Following company procedures and health and safety guidelines.
- Learning to work confidently and independently during quieter shifts, with full training and support provided.

The Hours
- Evening and weekend availability is essential.
- Flexible shifts to support the needs of the business.
- Additional hours may occasionally be available to cover holidays and busy periods.
Important Information
- Applicants must be 18 years or over due to the sale of alcohol and other age-restricted products.
- The role may occasionally involve lone working, and full training will be provided to ensure you feel confident and supported.
- Applicants should ideally be able to drive if they do not live locally to Kegworth, due to some shift start and finish times.
