Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cook/Cleaner to join our team, responsible for preparing meals and maintaining a clean, hygienic environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to specified recipes and dietary requirements
- Assist with food presentation and portion control to ensure consistency and quality
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitising surfaces, and disposing of waste appropriately
- Follow food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
- Organise ingredients and supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Support with general cleaning duties across the premises to uphold a tidy environment
- Serve meals to guests or customers in a courteous and professional manner when required
Requirements
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or catering environment is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Flexibility to adapt to varying workload demands and shift patterns
- A positive attitude towards customer service and teamwork
- Food hygiene course provided
