Join our dedicated pet care team at Neuro paws as an over night Pet Sitter, where your passion for animals and commitment to their well-being will shine. In this role, you will provide attentive, loving care to pets in their owners’ absence, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and happy. Responsibilities
- Feed, water, and administer medication to pets according to owner instructions
- Provide companionship through play, walks, and gentle interaction to keep pets engaged and happy
- Monitor pets’ health and behavior, reporting any concerns or unusual symptoms promptly
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for pets by cleaning cages, bedding, and feeding areas
- Follow specific care routines for each pet’s needs, including special diets or medical requirements and walks.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners before and after visits via our app to update them on their pets’ well-being
- Handle light administrative tasks such as scheduling visits and documenting pet care activities via our online system.
Experience
- Previous experience with animal care or veterinary assistance is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of animal behavior and basic health needs
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy pet supplies or assisting with large animals when necessary
- Genuine love for animals combined with patience, reliability, and attention to detail
- Full uk driving licence essential.
